Installed in the basement, the BVS extends from floor to ceiling and pulls air from the bottom of the inlet where the highest level of humidity resides. It then expels the unhealthy contaminated air outside, at the same time it recaptures the dryer, fresher healthier air from the upper floor and uses it to help dry out the basement or crawlspace. For most basements, a complete change of air is accomplished in 1 to 2 hours. Air DOES NOT STAGNATE in basement AS it does WITH A DEHUMIDIFIER.
The BVS is completely automatic and requires no maintenance. User friendly digital controls. The BVS maintains air circulation to help prevent build up of humidity and it's related problems. It's whisper quiet fan moves 180 CFM at an amazingly low cost of operation of about $4 per month or less.
